Shell said it expects strong demand growth for liquefied natural gas in the coming years, likely accounting for more than half of global natural gas demand growth by 2040.

Shell confirmed it has inked deals with Venezuela to explore development of the country’s oil and gas reserves, less than a month after the US began allowing oil majors to sign exploration and production agreements with the South American nation.
