Apollo 12 was an electric ride...⚡ On November 14, 1969 the Apollo 12 crew prepared to journey to the moon. Though it was raining, there was no cause for delay. The Saturn V was designed to launch in any weather. The crew touched down in a lunar region known as the Ocean of Storms, approximately 950 miles west of where the Eagle had landed, and perfected the precision target landing technique. | NASA Astronauts
