I get many questions about using reins and leg aids and still claiming to be reward based :) Aren’t rein aids and leg aids always pressure based? I would answer no. It is all in how you build them. Here we have one example. Me teaching indirect reins to move Tiny’s shoulders. The build up starts from the ground, here by using 2 mats to guide him and show him the movement I want to use to build on: moving from mat to mat.
